Scientific interests

Heterogeneous photocatalysis; sol-gel synthesis of nanostructured films; titania modification by metal ions, nonmetals, noble metal nanoparticles; creation of semiconductive metal titanate systems doped with nitrogen; investigation of physical and chemical properties of nanosystems; determination of photocatalytic degradation mechanism of anthropogenic pollutants.

2004 – Doctor Degree of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.), Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Friedrich-Alexander-University, Erlanger-Nurnberg, Germany (PhD thesis “Photocatalytic dinitrogen fixation at metal titanate thin films”) (in English)

2008 – PhD in Chemistry, specialty “physics and chemistry of surface” (nostrofication, candidate dissertation “Photocatalytic dinitrogen fixation at metal titanate thin films”).

2017 – Senior Researcher, specialty “Chemistry”.
